  A short walk from the creek and you find a place called butterfly gap, not only is it a great place for rock climbing but it host thousands of butterflies! A must see as very beautiful!

  The food is awesome with eat in or take away options, there is a bar to drink at or bottle shop to get a takeaway head back to camp and sit around a nice fire under the stars.

  Another big bonus of staying here is that it was pet FRIENDLY! :) We were aloud to have our dog with us which was great (she had a wonderful time too)

  The camp looks out across a great rocky escarpment that you can 4WD to the top if you like for a great view over the surrounds.

  We can't recommend a stay a Hayes Creek Wayside Inn enough, this was by far the best place we stopped from Adelaide to Darwin. The staff there are all super friendly and make you feel really welcome. You really get a good deal for your money here the prices are cheap.

  A small caravan park facilities dirty and old no hot water in the showers hopefully now the owner has it repaired the only thing that was nice about the place was it had a nice walk near the river

  On the hot days you have the choice to cool off in either of the two swimming pools or the refreshing natural spring swimming holes. The natural springs are beautiful and won our vote hands down.

  The camp grounds are very spacious with lush soft green grass with ample shade, cheep washing machines, clean toilets and showers.
